Singapore's child wonder, Miguel Antonio visited Davao City and had a mini-concert at Eagle's Bar, Marco Polo Hotel last November 11, 2011.
What a great way to celebrate 11.11.11!
Miguel Antonio was born and raised here in Davao City but migrated to the island nation of Singapore years later.
Miguel Antonio, innately endowed with singing prowess, he is crowned as the first ‘Qifa Idol’ in 2010 – a competition that paved way to his various performances, recently. Miguel, widely known by his friends and family, took part in other different competitions that proved his versatility in singing, such as the Singapore Press Holdings 'My Kid's Got Talent!' in 2011 and the Choir Competition held at Victoria Theatre, where he bagged Champion and bronze, respectively.
Miguel performed in various occasions attended by high-ranking officials and conducted by famous companies - he serenaded the Board of Directors of Dabu Association and Minister Gan Kim Yong. Miguel was featured in the Disney Channel's Upin and Ipin Beatbox Commercial.
Miguel also appeared and performed in different charitable and social-related events. He performed for Japan Relief fund. He sang for Singapore Pools Charity event "Fashion With a Heart" and for the Courts Young Lions Team at Jalan Basar Stadium, performed at SOTA for Kids Performing Hope Foundation 2011, and was also invited to sing at the launching of Skagen Singapore.
Established and famous singers have noticed Miguel’s talent. He was a guest singer with singer /songwriter Corinne Gibbons for The WOW! Concert at Singapore Repertory Theatre DBS Arts Centre last June 19. He will be part of one of Miss Corinne Gibbons new record song for Singapore and will be released soon.
Another Davaoeño made its way to the international scene! Way to go!
