know the reason

The fact that I must read my readings in Microbiology (in which I already mastered the Algae part, well, thanks to Intermediate Botany), LSS, once again, ruined my life. A lot of people really love LSS, but for me? It's the shittiest thing in the world. I'm not the type of person who gets an LSS in one song only, at least ten songs haunt me everyday. I don't know. Once I sing my favorite song, other songs will just pop on to my subconscious mind and eventually, my brain will transform into an enormous imeem playlist, playing at least millions of songs simultaneously. That's why, I really hate LSS. Really. Damn it. Sorry if this post's nonsense, but I just want to release those unwanted stress in my body.

But hey, let's play a game, shall we? The first person who can guess (or better yet, answer) all of the titles plus artist correctly will get a lovely price. Come on, don't be shy. And oh, pasensya na if the lyrics are not that accurate. My bad.

---

1) Where is the moment you needed the most? You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost, you tell me the blue skies turn to gray, tell me your passion's gone away, but I need no carry on..

2) Searching for the day of simple life, I wonder why the sky is blue.. my dream, your dream, dreams come true.. Flying high, Always listen to what is right, always listen to what's inside, always fly high and don't come back..

3) It's getting late, I'm making all my way to my favorite place, I gotta have to move my body shake the stress away.. possible candidate.. do you know where it started..we're rockin' on the dance floor acting naughty..

4) Hey there's a look in your eyes, must be love at first, you were just part of my dream, nothing more so it seems, but my love can't wait much longer, just can't forget the picture of your smile, 'coz everytime, I close my eyes, you come alive..

5) I love you with a fire red, now it's turning blue, and you saaayyyyyy, sorry like an angel heaven never think it was you.. but I'm not afraid..

6) Tick tick tock it's quarter to two, and I'm done, I'm getting enough with you.. I can't keep on waiting for you..

7) Would you ever be, I tried so hard to find sweet serenity, are you still afraid, just close your eyes and feel the pain fade away..

8) Story of my life, searching for the right, but it keeps avoiding me, sorrow in my soul, but it just get wrong, really loves my company..

9) Morning has come another day, I must pack my bags and say goodbye, GOOODBYEEEE.

10) Here's how it goes.. (enter chorus), I'm not gonna make you cry, but soon you will find it, you can run, you can hide but you can't escape my love.

11) When the sun we'll shine together, told you I'll be here forever, say that always be my friend, took an oath imma stick it out 'til the end.

12) Lights go out and I can't be saved, tides that I tried to swim against, put me down to pull my knees, Oh I beg, I beg and plead, singing.

13) Come up and meet you, to tell you I'm sorry.

14) Calling out of my cage and I've been doing just fine, gotta gotta be down because I wanna know, it started out with a kiss and everything ended up like this, it was only a kiss, it was only kiss.

15) Breakin' my back just to know your name, seventeen tracks and I haven't win this game.

16) I thought I saw a man brought to life, he was warm he came around like he was dignified, he show me why I musn't cry.

17) At the end of the day, remember the way that we can be close til' the end, remember how we made it through the rain, end of the day, remember the way that we can be close 'til the end, remember, it was me and you, 'coz we are gonna be forever you and me...

18) Say that you love me forever, never stop, never whatever..

19) Tonononot-tonot-not-not-not-tonenonenenot..tononot-tonot-tonot.. (HAHAHA, walang artist to, title lang).

20) Step one, you said we need to talk, he walks you say sit down it's just a talk, he smiles politely back at you, you stare politely right on through

21) We hope you enjoy your stay..

22) I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing, roman cavalry choirs are singing..

23) Magbago man ang panahon, pamantasan na hindi rin magbabago..

24) I open my eyes, and see you for the first time, I let go of you like, a child letting go of his kite.

25) Far away, this ship's is taking me far away, far away from the memories, of the people who care if I live or die.

26) On the corner of the main street, just got to keep in mind, say you wanna move on here..

27) I look in through the eyes, so far away. There's trouble on your mind, you're losing faith. Hey know, are you listening? Can you feel this way?

28) Please, don't let this feeling end.

29) Bum-bum dee am bum bum dee am, it's a thief in the night, will come and get you.

30) How long before I begin? Before it starts, before I begin?

People around the globe had kept on unleashing their great talents and skills in different fields of expertise such as sports, science, academics music and arts really amaze me. It’s just there are countless people who deem it as an ordinary job, but for ordinary people like me, it is an extraordinary feat.

I’m pretty engrossed on people with extraordinary jobs.

Photographer/ Photojournalist

Since last year, I’ve been absorbed with the latest camera model, its advanced technologies ranging from the lens to other properties. I’ve been fascinated on capturing not only life’s precious moments but on some still objects like the flowers, leaves, trees and other people in an ordinary day. Somehow, I began to appreciate life more through the world of photography. These are sample photographs taken from random professional photographers in Flickr.

Journalist

A journalist’s profession is one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. I know it’s dangerous but I think the only thing that makes a journalist’s life to be at stake is whether to surmise that the news they’ve acquired is truth or not. They only want to deliver fresh and unbiased news to the public that are vital in one’s life. Sometimes, knowing the truth needs a price to pay, like the lives of millions of Journalist around the globe. The world is indeed a cruel place to live in.

Air Traffic Controllers and Commercial Airline Pilots

I once deem to be an ATC or a commercial airline Pilot when I was young. But through the years, I have reevaluated my interests and decided to pursue my career in medicine. Enough said. Watching Air Crash Investigation of the National Geographic made me realize that their jobs are always dangerous and a minor mistake would lead to an impending loss of lives.

Other jobs with obvious reasons (but some are oblivious to it): Teachers, doctors, nurses, OFWs, and other numerous jobs that don’t have bad intentions on to the community.

No doubt, they are the unsung heroes of the new generation. Guys, I salute you.

The Final Loom

An impending curse is on its way to kill us. Just wait for it, WAIT FOR IT. Smile ‘til your heart splinters into smaller pieces. Laugh until your facial muscles can’t endure the searing pain of sadness and despair. Jump until the tremendous force of gravity will take over our world. Let’s get ready and greet the month of September with a BIG BANGGGGGGG.

September 1 – Botany 3 Second Field Trip – Eden Nature Park (We have to see the different kinds of Conifers).

September 2 or 4 or second week of Sept. – Microbiology Second Long Exam (Come HOLY SPIRIT I NEEEEED YOOOOOUUUU). Hahahaha :))

September 3 – Organic Chemistry Lecture and Biology 70 (Earth Science and Geology) Second Long Exam.

September 5 – Microbiology Theatrical Presentation.

September 6 – Bio 70 / Nat Sci 2 Field Trip – Nabunturan, Compostela Valley Province.

Second/Third Week of Sept. – Botany 3 third field trip – Bonsai Forest, Davao Oriental.

September 8 – The ultimate Bio 70 make up class. Mama Mary's birthday bash. Whatever :))

I still worry about our Physics 3 Lecture Class. Next week, we can’t meet since it is a holiday. On the first day of September, it would be our Field Trip in Botany. I wish she will be present in our make up classes on the following weeks. It would be rather disappointing if she will give an exam without giving proper lectures on to us.

On the lighter side, the first day of September marks the beginning of the Christmas Countdown. 125 days left before the Christmas Holiday.

Let’s parteeeeeeeey! :D

pahenge foee ng khowment.

Filipinos really love to receive and collect comments or testimonials on to their respective spaces in the cyberworld from people they personally know or strangers from other galaxies who wish to extend their friendship through the use of internet. Example, one would be extremely happy if someone gave him a compliment, through a comment at least.

Overtime, people tend to have this mentality: the more comment, the more eminence you’ll get. Honestly, I really don’t care about it. It’s just we have this freedom to express our own perceptions on every spaces, entries or posts in the cyberworld. One may have the freedom to opt whether to leave a comment or not. Nowadays, this comment-tathon saga is getting shoddier than ever. You can’t supplicate a person to publish his or her comment on to your post. I mean, it’s getting annoying when you ALWAYS receive a message stating that you should comment on to this certain post. That’s bullshit, seriously.

So guys, please, don’t beg for a comment. It’s just an opinion per se, but it would be better if one would read this in a light way. Just beg for your daily allowances from your parents. HAAHAA! But seriously, it’s very infuriating when you receive those kind of messages, isn’t it?

PS: On a serious note, when one types in sTiCkY CaPs liKe tHiS oNe (plus with the overrated spelling) it would be the most pathetic thing that a human being can do. Naduduling ako pag nakababasa ako ng sticky caps. Damn it. But if you're more comfortable on using that style, then so be it. It's your choice.

UP Students: Fake Scholars

I happened to hop and strut on to this blog site: (http://ramblingsofdennis.wordpress.com/2008/08/04/up-students-fake-scholars/) and it's quite a gauche.

UP students are not supposed to be called “Iskolar ng Bayan” (Scholar of the Nation). They are “paying scholars”. If you are paying more or less PHP 21, 000, would you really feel that you are indeed a “Iskolar ng Bayan”? Upon enrollment, UP students get in line to pay for their tuition holding wads of cash roughly four times thicker than those from New Era University would pay for. I am sure that we don’t need figures, charts, and statistics to prove the veracity of my claim.

Had it been somebody from PUP, PLM, PNU, TUP, or any state university/college who boasted himself as “Iskolar ng Bayan”, I am inclined to agree. Otherwise, if it’s from UP who claims such, I will maintain the same incredulous revulsion.

Braggart, think twice! Admit it or not, you don’t deserve to be called “Iskolar ng Bayan”… in the true sense of the word.

Dude, we, the ISKOLAR NG BAYAN would like to thank your shallow concern about the vagueness of the infamous term. Inasmuch as the scholars of the nation are concerned, we had tried to fight on to the impending tuition fee increase for the last two years but the officials didn’t heed our entreaty. But we are not giving up on to this issue. However, the way you write your blog makes it quite appalling. I mean, the sudden increase of our tuition fee is not an enough basis of calling us as fake scholars!

Iskolar ng Bayan is a label accorded to us because the taxpayers subsidize our education by form of government appropriation to the University, not on the basis of the tuition paid. We may accept any forms of denigrations, but I think your entry is so egotistical to inform us that we don’t merit the name. The true sense of “Iskolar ng Bayan” is beyond tuition or any other fees. I can’t see anything wrong that connects to the connotation of UP students as the Iskolar ng Bayan. You don’t have enough bases to nullify our label.

The term Iskolar ng Bayan is not limited to UP students after all, since State Universities in the country are also subsidized by the national government. But we are here to represent all State U’s. Take note that UP was proclaimed by the president as the NATIONAL UNIVERSITY of the country. This is just an opinion expressed by a concerned student of the country. I do not wish to create unimaginable cyber-mayhem into your site (as well as mine), but please, think twice before you write.

I really hate it when one generalizes all of his thoughts and ideas in his own piece and when the entry itself lacks evidences.
