Sh*t People Say in UP Mindanao

I spent my college years at the country's premier university and it was such a privilege. Aside from knowing the true meaning of service and excellence, I have also experienced a lot of things inside the youngest campus of UP.

UP Mindanao is one of the most diverse places that I've been to (aside from Imperial Diliman) - people come from different places and walks of life (never mind the countless number of flora and fauna species that thrive within the 204-hectare campus).

 Inspired by Shit Girls Say, here's my personal collection:

"Naa kay Duuuuus?" -- Wala baya gurl! 

While running to CSM 227 (Dr. ET Rasco's MST 4 or 5) - Uy, natawag na ba class card ko?! 

3 hrs din break mo? Tara, SM tayo! (FYI SM's the nearest mall... and it's an hour ride away from Kingdom Mintal) 

Hala, wala ng jeep! Mag HH kayo or mag Princess? 

Kina Sabing nalang ta kaon be? Naga tipid ko karon. 

Uy, may readings ka na sa SSP 5? Pa-photocopy be! (Tapos hindi naman babasahin kasi hindi maintindihan ang readings. See also: Sophie's World.) 

*After magpapicture sa admin* OMG nakita si Oble! Delete pleeeeeease! 

Ano password mo sa Kiosk? Pahiram be, ubos na kasi account ko. 

Pa compare ng lab report mo! 

Shoot! Late na tayo sa AH 5! Ano sasayawin natin? 6 na kasi absences ko! 

Tara, BJ tayo sa KFC (Kanluran Food Court)! (BJ = Buko Juice, you dirty whore!) 

Mag bluebook ba sa exam o hindi?

(At the start of the sem) Sana uno ako sa subject na to. (Middle of the sem) Or kahit 2.25 or 2.0 nalang. (Before finals) Shet, kahit tres or kwatro ok na ok lang sa talaga sa akin, ayokong ulitin tung subject na 'to! 

(At the start of the sem) Yes, this is going to be my semester! CL (Chancellor's List; University Scholar) dapat ako! (Middle of the sem) Ugh, dapat minimum grade ko sa *insert subject* is 2.00 para DL (Dean's List; College Scholar) pa rin ako! (End of sem) Uggghhh, kahit Honor Roll lang okay na talaga yan sa akin! 

Shit!!! 

Sure talaga na cancelled ang classes mamaya? Naa man gud rally unya sa downtown! 

Ate Malou! Pa load ko! 

HUH? Perfect ka sa exam? Hayop ka!!! 

Patay! Walang tubig sa dorm! 

Tambay muna tayo sa Silva!
